Job Description

The Senior OSC Specialist role is a critical position within Cboe Global Markets, Inc., requiring experienced financial technologists to provide world-class support and operational oversight of various data and access solutions platforms and services.

This senior-level role involves providing first-line support in conjunction with troubleshooting, monitoring systems, and ensuring they operate in a healthy state. Additionally, the Sr. OSC Specialist may be responsible for supporting compliance and regulatory functions, acting as a liaison between stakeholders, and working independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide subject matter expertise in one or more areas critical to production operations support by mentoring, training, and guiding Cboe staff.
  • Liaise with vendors and operators of facilities supporting critical financial infrastructure, participate in industry forums, and represent Cboe.
  • Liaise with business associates, customers, and software engineers to define and design new features and functions, implement configuration updates, and test changes to systems and platform functionality.
  • Analyze complex technical and trading issues, conduct root cause analysis, and resolve customer issues for Cboe DnA platforms and services.
  • Utilize SQL, UNIX shell, and Cboe proprietary tools to gather and analyze data, provide reports, and service customer needs.
  • Perform daily system checks, review audit logs, and monitor active production, disaster recovery, and certification/test environment systems to ensure Cboe platforms and systems operate as expected.
  • Provide customers, regulators, and business teams with live updates related to systems and trading issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Financial Services, Communications, or a related discipline.
  • At least 7+ years' experience in a security-related or technical support position.
  • Proficiency in UNIX Shell, SQL, and Agile Development Methodology.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year
