
Forensic Mental Health Social Worker

Overview:
This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced Social Worker to join our team in a dynamic mental health setting.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional who can provide high-quality social work services to consumers with complex needs.
The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to forensic mental health consumer recovery and be able to demonstrate their ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
About the Role:
- Conduct comprehensive social work assessments and develop care coordination plans to achieve optimal outcomes for consumers.
- Provide education and consultation to members of the multidisciplinary team regarding social and systemic issues.
- Advocate for consumers' rights and entitlements, and negotiate and implement care plans with patients and colleagues.
Requirements:
- Approved degree in Social Work and eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
- At least two years' experience in direct social work practice and/or leadership positions.
