Job Overview

The Cargo Operations Leader will oversee and support the Perth cargo operation, ensuring an efficient and effective service that meets and exceeds company and client expectations.

This role requires a customer-centric approach, including supervision, organisation, and coordination of all work areas during operational shifts. The successful candidate will also provide on-the-job team coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to achieve high levels of performance and service excellence.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering a customer-centric cargo operation with optimal results
  • Guiding teams to meet high performance standards through coaching and mentoring
  • Ensuring the efficient allocation of resources and compliance with industry standards and policies
  • Providing quality metrics and reporting critical business issues to drive improvement
  • Fostering a positive safety culture within the team

    • Oversee the efficient handling and movement of cargo from origin to destination
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Quality Assurance
    • Develop and implement quality assurance processes to ensure high-quality services
    • Monitor and report on quality metrics to identify areas for improvement
