About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Injury Management Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Health, Safety, and Wellbeing department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient management of injured workers, minimizing the impact on premiums, and promoting a culture of health and safety within our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert guidance and support to managers to help injured workers return to work.
- Ensure accurate and complete information on injured workers by collecting, recording, and reporting as required.
- Act as the primary point of contact for workers' compensation claims, brokers, and medical consultants.
- Facilitate effective communication between Anglicare, stakeholders, and other relevant parties.
- Escalate matters to the Head of Health, Safety, and Wellbeing when necessary.
- Implement and manage wellbeing, return-to-work, and reasonable adjustment initiatives.
- Manage workers' compensation claims to minimize premium impact and ensure compliance with legislative requirements.
- Update and maintain safety documentation, process claims, and communicate with ICARE through the Solve platform.
- SIRA accredited Return to Work Coordinator, essential.
- 5+ years of experience in Health, Safety, and Wellbeing.
- Strong data entry and administration skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage time effectively.
- Familiarity with Risk Assessment, WH&S systems, ISO 45001 filing, and the SIRA checklist.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
