About the Role:

This critical role involves ensuring that injured workers are supported and managed efficiently, so they can return to work as soon as possible. You'll collaborate with managers, handle workers' compensation claims, and minimize the impact on premiums while ensuring compliance with legislative requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide training, support, and advice to managers to help injured workers return to work.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of information on injured workers by collecting, recording, and reporting as required.
  • Act as the first point of contact for NWRI, PEM, and workers' compensation claims.
  • Facilitate communication between Anglicare, brokers, medical consultants, and other stakeholders.
  • Educate and support managers on health, safety, and wellbeing initiatives.
  • Implement Wellbeing, RTW/Recover at Work, and Reasonable Adjustment initiatives.
  • Manage workers' compensation claims to minimize premium impact and ensure compliance.
  • Update Safety First system, process claims, and communicate with ICARE through the Solve platform.
  • Maintain and review safety documentation and assist with policy updates in line with legislative requirements.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • SIRA accredited Return to Work Coordinator, essential.
  • 5+ years of experience in Health, Safety, and Wellbeing.
  • Strong data entry and administration skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and manage time effectively.
  • Familiarity with Risk Assessment, WH&S systems, ISO 45001 filing, and the SIRA checklist.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
