Practice Manager

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Practice Manager to join our team at Greencross Vets in Baulkham Hills. As a Practice Manager, you will be responsible for leading a strong and friendly team, enjoying work-life balance, and continuing to grow with our organization.
Our hospital offers a wide range of specialist services and provides 24-hour emergency and critical care through our facilities in NSW, ACT, VIC, QLD, and SA. This allows us to provide an exceptional standard of patient care, with access to all the resources, technology & equipment needed for best practice medicine.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the day-to-day operations of our clinic, including stock management, people management, rostering, and change management
- Undertake general nursing tasks
- Lead and develop our team and build a positive team culture
- Monitor monthly financial performance and team performance, while implementing actions to encourage improvement
- Drive our business forward through creating and implementing local marketing initiatives
- Deliver outstanding service and care to all patients and owners
- Industry experience (preferred but not essential)
- 3+ years' experience in a management position, leading a team and fostering a positive culture
- Strong leadership and team building skills, with the ability to provide coaching and guidance to team members
- HR experience with performance monitoring and management
- Experience with Rx works (preferred but not essential)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Good business acumen and organizational skills
- Friendly, respectful, team player attitude
- Passion for continuous learning
- Must be able to work flexible hours
