Job Title: Risk and Compliance Manager, Group and Corporate

Challenger Limited is seeking a highly skilled Risk and Compliance Manager to join our team in Sydney CBD. As a key member of our Risk and Compliance team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing group risk and compliance frameworks and systems, while providing risk and compliance support to Challenger's corporate functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement group risk and compliance frameworks and systems
  • Provide risk and compliance support to Challenger's corporate functions
  • Support risk workshops and control self-assessments to enhance risk management
  • Draft detailed reports for the Board, Group Risk Committee, and Executive Leadership team
  • Monitor and evaluate the external regulatory environment and emerging industry trends to recommend best practices in risk management
  • Implement CPS 230 requirements, including enhancing supplier risk governance and developing training and communications for risk culture initiatives
Requirements:
  • At least 3-5 years' experience in risk management, compliance, audit, or a similar advisory role within financial services
  • Strong knowledge of financial services laws and regulatory frameworks
  • Good understanding of risk and compliance management practices and frameworks
  • Strong skills in data analysis and report writing
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think laterally to provide pragmatic, balanced advice
