Aboriginal Wellbeing and Cultural Expert

At the Women's and Children's Health Network, we are seeking a skilled Aboriginal Social and Emotional Wellbeing Worker to join our HaRTSS team at Yarrow Place.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced professional to provide flexible and intensive therapeutic and healthcare support to young people who are or were under the Guardianship of the Chief Executive.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Aboriginal cultures and be able to provide expert care and cultural leadership to multidisciplinary staff.
We offer a competitive salary package ranging from $82,090 - $87,758 pro rata OPS5 per annum, plus relocation financial support, access to generous leave provisions, and opportunities for professional development.
To succeed in this role, you must have a Certificate IV in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care or equivalent and registration with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Practice Board of Australia.
You will also need to demonstrate experience in engaging with Aboriginal young people, providing assessment and interventions for complex health and wellbeing difficulties, and developing and implementing preventative and therapeutic programs.
