About this Opportunity
The University of South Australia is seeking an experienced and passionate Educator to join our team as an Expert in Aboriginal Health.
This role will focus on contributing to the teaching, scholarship, research, and professional activities of the Allied Health & Human Performance academic unit.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality courses, including investigating and developing alternative teaching methods and initiating new material.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-quality courses that meet the needs of students from diverse backgrounds
- Conduct research and scholarly activity to enhance the reputation of the University and Academic Unit
- Create and foster local, national, and international links with relevant bodies to advance University objectives
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Demonstrated understanding of issues impacting learning for Aboriginal tertiary students from diverse backgrounds
- Bachelor degree in a Health-related field and relevant industry/discipline experience in Aboriginal culture/health/research
- Ability to undertake a range of teaching duties, including preparation of teaching materials and resources
