Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Ken Bores mine site.

This role will involve providing technical support to customers and creating solutions to meet their needs, while working closely with our staff on technical and diagnostic support.

The successful candidate will have excellent technical knowledge of construction / mining equipment and be able to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing technical support to customers
  • Performing diagnostic evaluations, trouble shooting and fault finding
  • Performing hydraulic testing, machine inspections and customer reports
  • Performing electrical testing , machine inspections and customer reports
  • Working with internal departments to provide high levels of service
  • Promoting parts and service in line with branch sales and margin targets
  • Assisting technicians with technical faults on all equipment range
Requirements

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Relevant trade qualifications
  • Excellent technical knowledge of construction / mining equipment
  • Excellent computer literacy skills including knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to travel as required in line with customer needs
