Job Description:

Working as a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance to customers with Hitachi equipment on site. This role involves troubleshooting and fault finding, performing diagnostic evaluations, and working closely with internal departments to ensure high levels of service.

The ideal candidate will have relevant trade qualifications, excellent technical knowledge of construction/mining equipment, and good communication skills. Additionally, they should be able to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting Hitachi equipment and our customers
  • Performing diagnostic evaluations, trouble shooting and fault finding
  • Working with internal departments to provide high levels of service
  • Promoting parts and service in line with branch sales and margin targets
  • Assisting HCA technicians with technical faults on all HCA equipment range

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Relevant trade qualifications
  • Excellent technical knowledge of construction/mining equipment
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
