The Albert Park hotel, situated opposite the picturesque Albert Park Lake, offers a unique work environment. Our dual-brand hotel boasts 378 rooms, a restaurant, bar, pool, gym, and one of the largest conference spaces in Melbourne.
We are seeking an experienced Front Office Supervisor / Front Office Duty Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Front Office Manager, you will:
- Lead a shift of front office professionals, ensuring exceptional guest experiences.
- Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining procedures for the front office department, focusing on guest engagement.
- Contribute to the management of the team, including training and development, to ensure success.
- Handle complex guest queries and feedback.
- Work a rotating roster, including overnight, weekends, and public holidays.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role with proven success.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Desire to grow skills and progress managerial experience.
- Ability to work autonomously when leading the overnight team.
- Previous experience with a Property Management System (PMS) highly regarded.
- Reliability and flexibility to work a rotating roster.
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification and First Aid certification.
