About the Role
As a key leader in our golf course maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest industry standards of our prestigious golf course. Your expertise in turf management and leadership skills will play a critical role in implementing our golf course management plan, overseeing daily maintenance tasks, and ensuring efficient service delivery.
You will supervise staff, coordinate weekly work schedules, manage irrigation systems, and contribute to long-term planning for turf quality and course presentation. Your ability to mentor team members, liaise with internal stakeholders, and maintain strong relationships with contractors, residents, and visitors is essential.
Key Responsibilities
You will ensure all golf course maintenance activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with our turf management standards. Your leadership will foster a positive team culture that prioritizes community outcomes and workplace safety. From shaping irrigation programs to monitoring turf health and performance, you will play a central role in delivering an exceptional experience for all golf course users.
About You
We are looking for a highly organized and safety-focused individual with a Diploma in Sports Turf Management and significant hands-on experience maintaining golf courses. Your knowledge of irrigation systems, pest management, and turf maintenance is matched by your confidence in leading teams and coaching staff to perform at their best.
You should be comfortable with technology, from digital record keeping to managing irrigation control systems, and understand how to balance the technical and human sides of leadership. A strong communicator who builds positive relationships with staff, contractors, and the community is essential.
