Job Title: Senior Housing Development DirectorRole Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced property professional to lead the delivery of high-quality, accessible housing for individuals living with disabilities.

  • Manage the end-to-end development of housing projects, ensuring quality, cost, and safety targets are met.
  • Lead transparent procurement processes that achieve value for money.
  • Analyse new development opportunities that align with social and economic objectives.
  • Provide expert advice to Executive Management and the Board.
Main Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee project management within property development, construction, or community housing.
  2. Develop financial capabilities through budgeting, forecasting, cash flow modelling, and investment analysis.
  3. Familiarize yourself with compliance, permits, and approvals (SDA Design Standards highly regarded).
  4. Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, suppliers, government agencies, and community partners.
About You:
  • Prior experience in project management, preferably within property development, construction, or community housing.
  • Strong financial skills - able to manage budgets, forecast outcomes, analyze cash flows, and model investments.
  • Understanding of regulatory frameworks, including permits and approvals.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • A solutions-focused approach, driven by a commitment to creating positive social impact.
