Are you passionate about empowering carers and helping them build resilience, agency, and hope? Do you have a strong background in community services, allied health, or peer support? If so, we may have the perfect opportunity for you
We are seeking an experienced Carer Coach to join our team. As a Carer Coach, you will deliver one-on-one and group coaching sessions that help carers explore their goals, reflect on their journey, and take practical steps towards wellbeing.
About the RoleThis is a full-time opportunity based in Rockhampton. You will work autonomously while being a supportive and flexible team member. The successful candidate will have:
- A minimum Diploma in Coaching, Counselling, Community Services or related field
- A Right to work within Australia
- A Current valid Driver's Licence and the ability to undertake some travel
- The NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate (free online course)
- Satisfactory National Police Records Check
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with Children's Check (Employee/Paid)
As a Carer Coach, your key responsibilities will include:
- Facilitating the program in accordance with training and the Facilitated Coaching Service Guidelines
- Facilitating one-on-one and group coaching sessions to achieve the program's required KPIs
- Creating an environment where carers feel welcome, real, and empowered
- Ensuring relationships with carers are positive and built on Wellways values
- Engaging professionally and positively with key external and internal stakeholders
