We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Professional to work closely with foster carers, children and support services to ensure placements are stable, supportive and tailored to each child's unique needs.
Your work will help build brighter futures by fostering strong relationships, advocating for children's wellbeing and delivering trauma-informed, person-centred care that makes a difference.
Key Responsibilities:- Engage with carers to support children in all aspects of life, at home and in the wider community.
- Use observational and evaluation skills to contribute to the assessment of children and carers' needs.
- Work collaboratively with Child Safety Services, community agencies and elders to establish and maintain sound working relationships.
- Provide on-call services through a scheduled roster.
- Identify carer training and developmental needs to ensure the needs of the children are met.
- Certificate IV level or higher in Community Services (Child Protection) with significant experience in a similar field.
