Location: Rockhampton, QLD and surrounding areas

At Supportability Care Services, we are passionate about empowering individuals living with disabilities to lead fulfilling, independent lives. We're currently seeking caring and committed Disability Support Workers to join our dedicated team across Rockhampton and surrounding communities.

About the Role:

As a valued member of our team, you will provide tailored, person-centered support to individuals living with various disabilities, helping them achieve their personal goals and participate fully in daily life and within the community.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing personal care and assistance with daily living tasks
  • Supporting community access and social participation
  • Promoting independence and individual choice
  • Advocating for clients' rights and ensuring their individual needs are met
  • Implementing client support plans and maintaining accurate documentation
  • Building strong, respectful relationships with clients and their families

About You:

We're looking for compassionate, reliable individuals who:

  • Genuinely care about the wellbeing of others
  • Are experienced or interested in disability or community support
  • Are proactive, patient, and great communicators
  • Can work independently and within a team
  • Are flexible and adaptable to meet client needs

Job Requirements:

  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check - or willingness to obtain
  • Current First Aid & CPR certification - or willingness to obtain
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable and suitable vehicle
  • Certificate III (or higher) in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care, or similar – or willingness to obtain

What we're looking for

  • Relevant experience in the disability support or aged care sector, or a strong desire to work in this field. Previous experience is highly regarded but not essential – we welcome individuals with the right attitude and a commitment to learning.

  • Ability to work independently along with genuine passion for supporting individuals with various disabilities and empowering them to live independently

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and work effectively with clients and their families
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to address client need
