Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for supervising a group of individuals carrying out routine or repetitive activities with well-defined and accepted work practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide guidance and direction to team members in a non-trade environment.
  • Manage routine problems that arise without support.
  • Participate in team meetings and proactively offer suggestions for improvement.
  • Resolve conflict between team members or others outside the team.
  • Provide on-the-job training to team members in relevant procedures as required.
  • Ensure safety, environmental and quality controls and procedures are implemented on site.
  • Complete scheduled maintenance activities and works in accordance with specifications and operating procedures.

This is an ongoing full-time role located at Welby and will be involved in delivery of projects in the Southern Highlands region. You will work a 9-day fortnight and support our maintenance crews to deliver a wide range of operations including the maintenance of established pavements and construction of new or enhanced pavements.

Requirements:
  • Current Construction Industry White Card and Traffic Control certification.
  • Unrestricted NSW Motor Vehicle driver's licence.
  • Experience operating as a Road Worker Grade 3 or related labouring experience in a civil construction environment.
  • Sound experience using internal reporting systems.

You may be required to work outside of normal working hours, including night shifts, callouts, or overtime and must be prepared to travel throughout the Southern Highlands region.
