The position is focused on coordinating the delivery of IT projects, with a primary emphasis on the Council's ERP Program. The role requires expertise in project management methodologies such as Prince2, Agile, and PMBoK to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of projects.

  • Project Delivery Coordination: Manage project plans, timelines, dependencies, and milestones to meet quality, scope, time, and cost expectations.
  • Risk Management: Monitor and manage project risks, escalating issues as needed, and providing regular updates and reports to stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate stakeholder engagement and communication, translating technical requirements for non-technical audiences and supporting effective collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Procurement Support: Assist in developing procurement documentation, tracking contract performance, contributing to vendor evaluations, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies and regulations.
  • Resource Management: Monitor project budgets and resources, tracking expenditure, contributing to forecasting and variance analysis, collaborating with Finance for accurate reporting, and supporting resource planning and task allocation.
  • Change Management: Contribute to change management planning, communications, training, benefits realization tracking, and handover activities to business-as-usual teams.
Requirements
  • Strong project management skills and experience in coordinating complex IT projects.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies such as Prince2, Agile, and PMBoK.
  • Ability to facilitate stakeholder engagement and communication.
  • Experience in procurement support and vendor management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
