About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Data and AI Consultant to join our team. As a Principal Data and AI Consultant, you will need a combination of technical skills, strategic thinking, and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement large-scale, distributed data platforms and AI/ML models on AWS.
  • Lead technical teams in a senior hands-on data engineering role.
  • Develop data strategies that align with business goals.
  • Connect data, analytics, and AI solutions to measurable business outcomes.
  • Conduct training sessions, deep architectural discussions, and cloud acceleration programs.
  • Present solutions to clients and answer questions in a presales environment.
Requirements
  • 7+ years in a hands-on role in the data and technology industry.
  • Experience in data architecture and solution design for modern data platforms.
  • Recent extensive experience in Data Engineering, stretching into AI and ML.
  • Previous Consulting experience within enterprise environments.
  • 2+ years' experience in a senior hands-on data engineering role, leading technical teams.
Desired Skills
  • AWS Expertise:
    • Proficiency in AWS data, analytics, and AI/ML services such as Amazon S3, Redshift, SageMaker, Glue, Bedrock, and Amazon Q.
  • Data Engineering and Architecture:
    • Strong background in data engineering, including ETL processes, data warehousing, and data lakes.
    • Experience with data architecture, ensuring data quality, governance, and security.
  • Machine Learning and AI:
    • Knowledge of machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and their integration with AWS services.
    • Ability to build, train, and deploy machine learning models on AWS.
  • Business Acumen:
    • Ability to connect data, analytics, and AI solutions to measurable business outcomes.
    • Experience in developing data strategies that align with business goals.
  • Problem-Solving:
    • Strong analytical skills to identify and solve complex data-related problems.
    • Ability to design scalable and cost-effective solutions.
  • Customer Engagement:
    • Excellent communication skills to interact with various stakeholders, including data engineers, data scientists, analysts, and business leaders.
  • Thought Leadership:
    • Ability to educate customers on best practices around advanced data, analytics, and AI solutions on AWS.
  • Presales:
    • Taking a leadership role in presales (EOI, RFI, RFP) activities.
