We're seeking a highly skilled Machine Learning Data Scientist to join our Office of Ethical and Humane Use. This role will play a critical part in ensuring that our AI products are developed and deployed in a responsible and transparent manner.
The Role
As a Machine Learning Data Scientist, you will work closely with our AI Research Science team, Data Science and Engineering teams to measure and remediate potential bias in data and models. You will build datasets for testing models, participate in technical discussions, and drive engineering investments in responsible AI to improve model fairness and safety prior to launch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential bias in AI models.
- Develop and maintain datasets for testing and validation of AI models.
- Collaborate with engineers to implement responsible AI practices in our products.
- Design and implement quantitative metrics to evaluate the fairness and safety of AI models.
- Conduct end-to-end experiments and analyses to identify emerging risks and opportunities.
- Work with industry leaders to stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in responsible AI.
Requirements:
- Practical experience in machine learning and data science.
- MS in a quantitative discipline with 8+ years of experience.
- Fluent in building and prototyping machine learning models and algorithms.
- Knowledgeable about standard machine learning approaches and frameworks.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
Desired Skills:
- Demonstrated experience with bringing data science solutions from problem identification to production.
- Experience with designing and building micro-services and containerization.
- Strong experience leading multi-disciplinary teams driving significant business results.
