
Strategic Claims Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Claims team.
Key Responsibilities- Pro-actively manage a portfolio of workers compensation claims to achieve the optimum outcome of early and sustainable return to work with reasonable claim costs.
- Collaborate with medical professionals, employers, brokers, rehab providers and other stakeholders to create an effective Return to Work strategy.
- Assist the worker and employer with the claim process, providing support, managing expectations and ensuring timely access to required services to support return to work and injury recovery.
- Assess aspects of liability and recovery relevant to the legislation or policies while undertaking ongoing reviews in relation to entitlements and payments.
- Respond to escalations and provide coaching and mentoring to other members of the team.
- A minimum 3 years of experience managing claims within the New Zealand Accident Compensation Scheme is mandatory.
- You must currently be residing in New Zealand to be eligible for relocation bonus.
