Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Claims team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pro-actively manage a portfolio of workers compensation claims to achieve the optimum outcome of early and sustainable return to work with reasonable claim costs.
  • Collaborate with medical professionals, employers, brokers, rehab providers and other stakeholders to create an effective Return to Work strategy.
  • Assist the worker and employer with the claim process, providing support, managing expectations and ensuring timely access to required services to support return to work and injury recovery.
  • Assess aspects of liability and recovery relevant to the legislation or policies while undertaking ongoing reviews in relation to entitlements and payments.
  • Respond to escalations and provide coaching and mentoring to other members of the team.
About You
  • A minimum 3 years of experience managing claims within the New Zealand Accident Compensation Scheme is mandatory.
  • You must currently be residing in New Zealand to be eligible for relocation bonus.
  • An empathetic, resilient, and motivational approach to provide customer-centric support.
  • A driven professional with highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • Careful consideration to detail with a high concern for accuracy to manage stakeholder engagement.
  • A team player who likes to work collaboratively and can also work independently.
