Senior Claims Manager

Key Responsibilities:- Lead a team of claims professionals managing a broad portfolio of Executive & Professional lines claims in accordance with established standards.
- Set expectations, coach, and develop teammates to achieve optimal results.
- Collaborate with the broader Executive & Professional lines team including underwriting and actuaries on claims trends, portfolio development, policy wordings and risk issues.
The successful candidate will be a critical part of our Executive & Professional Lines team, supporting the business goals and contributing on a strategic level.
Requirements:- A minimum of 15 years' experience handling a broad range of Executive & Professional lines claims for an insurer or in legal practice, with demonstrated technical mastery in negotiating and settling complex claims.
- People management experience is required.
- Strong business acumen and an understanding of claims as a contributor to an overall insurance operation.
