Job Opportunity

The Financial Accountant role plays a crucial part in enhancing financial operations and driving business performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage payroll, financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management effectively.
  • E nsure timely and accurate financials, including AP and transaction-level governance.
  • Provide regular reporting and performance commentary to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to align rostering, invoicing, and costs with NDIS funding models.
  • Support and mentor AP and payroll staff members.
  • Contribute to improving financial systems, governance, and internal controls.
About the Ideal Candidate
  • A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in management accounting or a similar field.
  • Proven track record of managing finances for a business with approximately US$30M turnover.
  • In-depth understanding of payroll, labour costing, rostering, and SCHADS Award.
  • Proficient in working with Xero, KeyPay, EmploymentHero, and CareMaster software.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with operational leaders.
  • Experience or willingness to learn NDIS pricing and compliance frameworks.
