About the Role

The organization is seeking a highly skilled National Technical Manager to lead its engineering, process development, and sustainability functions.

This key position will assume responsibility for capital projects, process optimization, engineering, and continuous improvement within the manufacturing business unit.

The successful candidate will have an in-depth understanding of gypsum and plasterboard manufacturing processes, plant equipment capability, process chemistry, and process optimization.

A degree-qualified engineer (Mechanical / Electrical / Chemical or equiv.) with a minimum of 15 years' experience in the building materials industry, specifically specializing in plasterboard production, operations management, and process optimization, is required.

The ideal candidate will possess lean six sigma and global experience within the plasterboard manufacturing industry.

Applicants must be entitled to work in Australia and undergo police and medical checks for security clearance pertaining to specific job requirements.
