National Bridge Engineering Specialist

As a National Bridge Lead, you will play a key role in growing and leading our bridge engineering capability across Australia. You will provide support to the Regional Director for Highways & Bridges and supervise a group of bridge engineers and designers.
The ideal candidate will have people leadership skills, raise bridge knowledge and expertise across the group, and be responsible for hiring and expanding the team.
You will also be the key interface with contractors and state government, develop new business, maintain and nurture existing client relationships, and liaise with other business sector leaders and teams within the organization.
Required Skills & Qualifications- A relevant degree in civil engineering;
- Extensive industry experience as a Bridge Engineer recognised by clients at state level;
- Ability to lead or direct a group of technical staff;
- Sound knowledge of Australian Standards in current engineering and construction principles, methods and practices;
- Track record of delivering complex multidisciplinary projects on time and to budget.
- Professional Engineer registered with Engineers Australia or other relevant country registration.
The successful candidate will also possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills in complex and changing environments.
