Clinical Behaviour Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our Positive Behaviour Support Team. As a key member of the team, you will work in an environment that fosters clinical skill advancement through robust support and guidance.
Key Responsibilities:- Bolster relationships with participants and stakeholders
- Conduct comprehensive Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBAs)
- Develop and implement function-based strategies within Behaviour Support Plans
- Deliver targeted training and education to stakeholders
- Analyse and reduce restrictive practices in accordance with regulatory guidelines
- Maintain regular data collection and monitor progress
- Applicants must possess 'Proficient', 'Advanced' or 'Specialist' letter of suitability
- Prior experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner, including demonstrated FBA conduct, plan implementation and restrictive practice management
- Preferably 3+ years experience working in behaviour support environments
- Relevant tertiary qualifications (e.g., Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Counselling, Social Sciences)
- A growth mindset and commitment to continuous professional development
- Experience supervising or coaching others, or willingness to develop leadership skills
- NDISWC/WWCC registration or willingness to apply
- A valid Australian driver's license and ability to travel
