Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our team in Adelaide. As a key member of our organisation, you will play a crucial role in conducting assessments, writing behavioural support plans and programmes, and supervising other practitioners.

As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will report to the Regional Clinical Manager and work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality services to participants. You will have the opportunity to develop your professional and clinical skills while expanding your leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments and write behavioural support plans and programmes
  • Provide direct behavioural interventions in individual and group sessions
  • Develop and maintain relationships with participants, families, and professionals
  • Partner with other professionals to develop and implement individualised client goals and checklists
  • Complete introductory training in Non-Linear Multi-element Positive Behaviour Support

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and/or postgraduate qualifications related to Positive Behaviour Support
  • NDIS Practitioner ID, NDIS Workers Screening Check, and Working with Children Check
  • Proven experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner, Behaviour Analyst, or Behaviour Therapist
  • Effective communication and time management skills
