About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Inventory Management Specialist to join our team at Sephora. As a key member of our stockroom operations, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient inventory management, maintaining stock levels, and supporting our business goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive scheduled cycle counts to identify and adjust stock levels, minimizing out-of-stock situations.
  • Utilize data and reports to inform operational decisions, reducing shrinkage loss and improving stock management.
  • Monitor and investigate negative stock levels, collaborating with the store team to resolve issues.
  • Implement a continuous improvement mindset, working with the Senior Management team, Supply Chain, and Planning team to achieve business and operational results.
  • Serve as the point of contact for distribution and organization of stock levels, making informed stock decisions.
  • Train and educate the wider team on shrinkage and back-of-house policies and procedures.
  • Process and replenish stock arrivals, manage returns, and liaise with external stakeholders for stock pick-up.
Requirements
  • Previous retail stock management experience, with a focus on cycle counts, product launches, visual merchandising, people management, and sales forecasting.
  • Proficiency in using the Microsoft Office Suite, including SharePoint and SAP, to interpret and input data for daily reporting.
  • Ability to work a 38hr rotating roster to support store needs.
  • Physical fitness to lift and shift boxes weighing up to 15kg.
  • Drive for results, with a history of exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
  • Passion for excellent client service and experiential retail, with a focus on maintaining stock levels to represent the Sephora brand.
  • Ability to maintain a strong and positive culture, valuing and recognizing team members through feedback and career development.
