The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Inventory Management Specialist to join our Global Logistics division at the Telstra Prestons site. This hands-on role primarily supports the Telstra account, which constitutes 95% of our warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform scheduled stock takes and cycle counts to meet customer expectations.
  • Compile and analyze results, providing comprehensive reports and recommendations to management.
  • Conduct regular site checks, report any discrepancies, and ensure thorough investigations and resolutions.
  • Manage and maintain overall site inventory record accuracy (IRA) in alignment with agreed KPIs.
  • Develop and implement action plans to address identified defects.
  • Oversee inventory cycle counting schedules to meet customer service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Collaborate with operations to identify and resolve inventory-related picking issues.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities under time pressure.
  • Excellent customer service orientation and effective time management.
  • High attention to detail with strong analytical abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office and other office-based technologies.
  • Familiarity with providing services in a third-party logistics environment.
  • Experience with warehouse management software is advantageous.
  • Certificate(s) or Diploma in Warehousing & Distribution and/or Transport & Logistics is preferred.
