About This Opportunity
">We are seeking an experienced and ambitious individual to join our team as a Meat Department Team Leader. As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for leading a small team, managing day-to-day operations, and contributing to the overall success of the business.
">Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a small team of meat department staff
- Manage day-to-day operations, including rostering, ordering, and stock control
- Contribute to achieving gross profit targets through effective inventory management and cost control
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
- Communicate effectively with team members, management, and suppliers
Requirements:
- Australian trade qualification in Butchery (essential)
- Proven leadership and management experience, preferably in a retail or hospitality environment
- Ability to lead and motivate a team, with a focus on developing skills and knowledge
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
- Commitment to work health and safety standards and a focus on maintaining a safe working environment
