About the Role

At Google, we prioritize user-centric innovation. As a Product Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping products that impact millions of people daily. This position requires adaptability and a passion for working on products that drive meaningful change.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the product roadmap for Google Rich Business Messaging (RBM), focusing on innovative experiences for users and brands by introducing new features (e.g., payments, shopping carts, improved verification and spam protections, re-engagement features, conversation starters, AI-based customer service experiences).
  • Identify gaps in the current product offering, define and document requirements, and deliver business impact through supporting new and expanded functionality.
  • Lead the team to scale RBM towards a Google-scale business.
  • Define new industry standards and collaborate with the mobile ecosystem (e.g., carriers, iOS, device makers, channel partners).
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in product management, consulting, co-founder, or related technical roles.
  • 4 years of experience in consumer-internet products or SaaS Business-to-Business (B2B) software.
  • 2 years of experience building and shipping technical products.
  • Experience in partnerships, collaborating with enterprises on creating technical solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to deliver and execute in a fast-paced software environment.
  • Excellent technical skills to effectively collaborate with an engineering team.
  • Excellent communications skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders at the Director/VP/C-suite level, design trade-offs, and help triage feature requests and bugs.
