
Medical Workforce Administrator

This role involves providing administration services to support the Medical Workforce Unit.
About The Role
- Coordinate education, rostering, and onboarding for Local Health Districts.
- Support clinical service delivery across the hospital and liaise with key stakeholders.
You will play a vital role in ensuring efficient operation of our medical workforce. This is an opportunity to work in a dynamic team that values excellence, teamwork, and ongoing learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and manage JMO rosters, ensuring equity, cost-effectiveness, and safe working hours.
- Maintain daily rosters, including sick leave, overtime, and annual leave cover.
- Coordinate JMO onboarding and credentialing, and manage rotation processes.
- Provide administrative support, including preparing reports, correspondence, and meeting papers.
- Assist with junior and senior medical staff enquiries, orientation, and wellbeing.
- Maintain knowledge of relevant industrial awards, policies, and procedures.
- Contribute to the strategic direction of the unit and achievement of key performance indicators.
Essential Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent work experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, learn quickly, and adapt to changing environments.
- Proven ability to manage workload in high volume environments, with competing priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Internet, email technology, and MS Office applications.
