Job Summary">

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to contribute to the efficient and effective operation of our medical workforce. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth functioning of various administrative services that support the Medical Workforce Unit.

The successful candidate will have relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent work experience, ideally in a medical or healthcare setting. They will also possess strong interpersonal skills, the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, and demonstrated proficiency in the use of Internet, email technology, and MS Office applications.

You will contribute to the overall strategic direction of the unit, assist with inquiries and orientation, and maintain comprehensive knowledge of relevant industrial awards, legislations, and policies and procedures at a local, district, and state level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administration services to support the functions of the Medical Workforce Unit.
  • Coordinate education, rostering, and on-boarding for Local Health Districts (LHDs).
  • Support the delivery of clinical services across the hospital and liaise with key stakeholders.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of relevant industrial awards, legislations, and policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Internet, email technology, and MS Office applications.
