We are seeking a skilled Contracts Administrator to join our team and assist in the delivery of large commercial projects.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and organized individual to work closely with the Project Manager in ensuring the safe, coordinated, and successful delivery of projects.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the production of documents and plans that govern project delivery.
  • Compile accurate scopes of work for subcontracts.
  • Review and approve subcontractor plans for compliance with project plans and specifications.
  • Ensure subcontract and supply agreements align with project and company contractual and legal requirements.
  • Administer project management, change, and control processes in compliance with project plans, contractual and legal conditions, time bars, and administrative timeframes.
  • Evaluate the proper use of Jobpac in administering the project.
About You
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Building, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
  • Solid experience working as a Contracts Administrator on large commercial and residential new builds.
  • An understanding of commercial and legal issues pertaining to head contracts.
  • A working knowledge of major building trades.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Experience in tender processes and trade procurement.
  • A financial understanding and knowledge of construction costs.
