A leading childcare provider seeks a qualified Professional to champion workplace culture and employment compliance within the sector. This key role involves fostering a positive work environment, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, and delivering expert guidance on employment-related matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Mergers & Acquisitions: Undertake the end-to-end function of the HR M&A process, including conducting due diligence reviews, preparing reports for upcoming settlements, reviewing industrial relations and employment compliance, pre and post-settlement HR onboarding, and administrative tasks.
  2. People Services: Deliver timely, accurate support and guidance on incoming employment-related matters through the HR inbox and main phone line.
  3. People Systems: Support project work, maintain up-to-date system-related self-service documentation, and assist in resolving technical issues.
  4. Training & Development: Conduct training sessions on P&C Compliance related topics and People Systems, including employment legislation, relevant industrial awards, internal policies, and practices.
  5. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends and legislative changes, proactively suggesting enhancements to current HR processes and practices.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Prior experience in the Early Childhood sector or a similar operating environment (desirable).
  • Studying towards or hold a Diploma or Bachelor of Business/Human Resource Management.
  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation, childcare regulations, and industrial awards.
  • Experience in producing reports and data analysis.
  • High-level computer literacy and application of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Prior experience working with a HRIS (SuccessFactors).
