
Demand Planning Manager

This role involves overseeing demand planning, inventory purchasing, and supply logistics to ensure efficient processes. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams and suppliers using their strong communication skills and problem-solving ability.
Key Responsibilities
- Purchasing all products to meet customer demand in a timely manner
- Planning supply and logistics activities for production materials and finished products to minimize costs
- Reviewing open Purchase Orders for potential changes and ensuring volume coverage based on supplied forecasts
- Managing import and drop shipment processes with suppliers
- Coordinating customs clearance for imported shipments, including fumigation and documentation with customs brokers
- Prioritizing import shipments and processing goods inward with 3PL services
- Verifying import shipment and freight invoices for payment purposes
- Inventory management, including reconciliation and reporting metrics to management as required
- Optimizing inventory levels through analysis, purchasing, stock control, and replenishment
- Validating demand plans, including product family and SKU-level volumes, and making necessary adjustments
- Developing and implementing improved supply/demand planning methods using SAP tools within the area of responsibility
- Making forecasting inputs to ensure on-time supply of required materials and components
- Providing insights on past, current, and future supply/demand data to forecast demand volatility
Your Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in demand or supply planning
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with all stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Data analysis, presentation, and reporting skills with external and internal stakeholders
- Collaborative skills to work effectively within a team and with other business functions
