Job Title: Air Operations Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Air Operations Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and coordinating aircraft, road vehicles, clinicians, and crews to deliver care where needed.

The ideal candidate will have experience in an operational setting, strong prioritization and problem-solving skills, especially under pressure, clear and confident communication skills with various stakeholders, and a willingness to work shifts as part of a 24/7 roster.

Responsibilities include:

  • Planning and coordinating aircraft, road vehicles, clinicians, and crews to deliver care where needed
  • Keeping track of active missions and responding calmly when plans change
  • Balancing priorities under high demand, making timely decisions with available information
  • Being the first point of contact for operational issues, solving and escalating when necessary
  • Communicating clearly with teams and stakeholders to maintain unity
  • Maintaining accurate operational records, providing structured handovers, and contributing to reporting for clients
  • Supporting safe, efficient, and compliant operations while identifying improvements

The selected candidate will be trained in our systems and processes but need to be ready to learn, adapt, and work closely with others to maintain smooth operations.

Requirements

Key requirements for the role include:

  • Experience in an operational setting (e.g. aviation, logistics, emergency services, or similar)
  • Strong prioritization and problem-solving skills, especially under pressure
  • Clear and confident communication skills with various stakeholders
  • A willingness to work shifts as part of a 24/7 roster
  • Competence with basic computer systems (Microsoft Office)
  • NSW Driver's Licence (or equivalent)
  • Working With Children Check and Category B vaccinations (can be completed on appointment)
