As a Project Coordinator, based in Dubbo, you'll work closely with Senior Project Managers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, while meeting industry standards and exceeding client expectations.
About the Business
Since 2007, Chill-Rite has built a strong reputation as one of the largest and most trusted air conditioning companies across regional NSW. We specialise in the sale, installation, and repair of top-tier air conditioning systems, evaporative cooling, split systems, gas ducted heating, and ducted refrigerated heating and cooling.
With a team of over 100 staff, we proudly serve regional communities including Dubbo, Mudgee, Orange, Bathurst, Tamworth, Newcastle and Coffs Harbour.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Project Managers with planning, scheduling, and coordinating resources.
- Track project progress and communicate updates to stakeholders.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to meet project deadlines.
- Manage project documentation including scopes of work, RFIs, variation orders, and job packs.
- Monitor project costs and maintain budget oversight.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment, tools, and materials used on-site.
- Organise and participate in project meetings, tracking actions and outcomes.
- Support procurement activities and delivery tracking.
- Assist in commissioning, handover, and project close-out processes.
- Champion company values and support a positive team culture.
About You
- Experience in a similar role within the HVAC, electrical or construction industry.
- Solid understanding of mechanical/electrical systems, drawings, and terminology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
- Able to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and quality control in HVAC/electrical works.
