Administration Officers are essential team players within our Radiation Oncology department. Their primary role is to ensure seamless operations by managing incoming referrals, registering new patients and coordinating appointments efficiently. As a key member of our New Patient Team, they will provide administration support, complete tasks effectively, and deliver high-quality customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
• Frontline customer service to patients as part of our Front Reception team
• Administrative processes for referral management, making new patient appointments and treatment review appointments
• Show flexibility and a commitment to various tasks and roles to allow efficient rostering of the administration team
• Provide cover and be rostered to other administration roles to support planned and unplanned leave

About This Role
This Administration Officer position requires demonstrated competence in administrative skills and general office procedures. They must also possess excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in periods of high demand, computer literacy and accurate keyboard and data entry skills are also essential. Additionally, the ability to work unsupervised with excellent time management skills and exercise discretion and confidentiality in respect of hospital matters is required.

• Demonstrated competence in administrative skills and general office procedures
