Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to manage post-award administration of research funding, ensuring high-quality outcomes and compliance with funding bodies. This role offers the opportunity to develop expertise in grant management, build strong stakeholder relationships, and contribute to the university's research success in a dynamic environment.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage Post-Award Administration: Provide high-quality support for funded research, ensuring timely reporting to funding bodies.
  • Build and Maintain Relationships: Establish excellent connections with internal and external stakeholders, offering impactful advice to researchers and administrators.
  • Support Grant Management Processes: Assist in negotiating and accepting research funding, coordinating communications, and maintaining accurate data in research management systems.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with academics, university departments, and external funding agencies to achieve high-quality outcomes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong Organisational Skills: Proven ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Tertiary Qualification: Relevant tertiary qualification and/or experience in a similar role.
