About the Role:

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior WHS Professional - Risk Management Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Work Health and Safety (WHS) laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive wellbeing, health, and safety programs, focusing on effective incident management, risk mitigation, and return-to-work strategies.
  • Formulate policies and procedures to ensure a safe workforce while meeting all WHS obligations.
  • Provide expert advice and recommendations on WHS risks and issues to enable informed decision-making by management.
  • Oversee incident management processes, ensuring timely reporting, investigation, and resolution of workplace incidents.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline and/or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • In-depth knowledge of Work Health and Safety laws, regulations, and industry standards to ensure compliance and effective risk management.
  • Experience in managing workplace incidents, including investigation techniques, reporting protocols, and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Proficiency in conducting safety audits and risk assessments, with the ability to identify hazards and develop strategies for risk reduction.

About the Opportunity:

This is a contract role till the end of March 2025, with possible extension. The daily pay rate is attractive, and you will enjoy hybrid work arrangements (WFH + Parramatta). Your working hours will be 7 hours a day, with 35 hours per week.

Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per annum
