The Community Liaison Officer will foster and maintain effective relationships with local service providers, community organisations, and other key stakeholders to enhance service accessibility, integration and recovery outcomes for people accessing the service.

" + "Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with families, carers, community organisations, local health services, government agencies, and other stakeholders." + "
  • Identify community needs and collaborate with relevant organisations to address them." + "
  • Represent the organisation in community forums, interagency meetings, and networks relevant to mental health and psychosocial support." + "
  • Support the development of the Commonwealth Psychosocial Support program and raise awareness of its impact on the community.
" + "Requirements
  • Possession of a minimum Certificate IV in the Human Services or Social Sciences fields or professional qualifications in project management, and/or at least 5 years' experience in community engagement or a similar role." + "
  • Proven experience in establishing connections with stakeholders and engaging with communities, as well as expertise in health promotion, public health, behavioural or social sciences, communications or marketing education.
