Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Partner Sales Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual with excellent sales and business development skills to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving customer acquisition and revenue growth through Partners in the Startup segment. They will lead pipeline acquisition through local Partners and support the Partners' go-to-market activities to deliver this pipeline and ultimately revenue.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing a high volume, sell-through business in their geographic territory (APJ)
  • Driving opportunity pipeline with strategic technology and consulting partners for SUP accounts, ensuring it aligns with our AWS strategic direction
  • Owning Partner sales revenue, trends, opportunity registration, and business reviews to manage progress against business plans and core KPIs
  • Demonstrating ability to develop initiatives that drive the creation of opportunities with Partner's field sales organization and accelerate opportunities to a successful business outcome
  • Understanding and exploiting the use of salesforce.com and other internal Amazon systems
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • 5+ years of experience with direct sales and business development plans
  • 5+ years of experience in consultative sales working with Partners through account management, product management, program management, and business development engagements

About the Role

This is an essential contributor to the Partner sales motion, advising on aspects related to Partner engagement and solution development. As an integral stakeholder, like an account executive, you will participate in Partner sales team meetings, Quarterly Business Reviews, and provide input into Monthly Business Reviews.
