Overview of the Position

The role of ERP Solutions Architect involves leading large-scale digital transformation projects for federal government agencies. These initiatives aim to modernize enterprise systems, ensuring stability and a long-term purpose-driven mission with collaboration, governance, and accountability at their core.

The Opportunity

This is a rare chance to influence system-wide technology uplift initiatives directly, shaping the architecture that underpins government digital services. As an experienced solution architect with strong ERP and enterprise systems expertise, you will support high-profile program work and develop architectural blueprints to ensure solutions align with business goals and standards.

Key responsibilities include translating business and technical requirements into high-level and detailed solution designs, developing architectural blueprints, designing, configuring, and integrating ERP solutions with HR and finance edge systems in hybrid networked environments.

You will work closely with stakeholders, business users, technical teams, subject matter experts, and cyber security specialists to ensure solutions incorporate appropriate cyber security controls in government settings.

Additionally, you will produce clear documentation and diagrams to support decision-making for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Accomplished solution architect with demonstrated experience in ERP and enterprise system design.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to bridge complex technical requirements with practical business outcomes.
  • Proven experience in translating requirements into solution architecture and detailed design documents.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP processes, technologies, and system integrations, preferably including HR and finance systems.
  • Ability to develop and deliver high-level detailed design solutions in complex environments.
  • Strong understanding of hybrid environments, networks, and edge product integration.
  • Familiarity with cyber security compliance requirements in government contexts.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to present designs to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Bonus If You Have:
  • Prior experience supporting ERP uplift initiatives in government.
  • Exposure to Peoplesoft, Aurion, or TechnologyOne environments.
  • Architecture certification, such as TOGAF or ArchiMate.
