Key Responsibilities and Outcomes

The eSafety Investigations Branch oversees regulatory schemes into a range of online harms. These include adult cyber abuse, image-based abuse, illegal and restricted content, and child cyberbullying.

Investigations are conducted in collaboration with other teams to achieve the best possible outcomes for victims and offenders alike.Section 1: Adult Cyber Abuse

As an investigator, you will be working closely with senior investigators and experts in the field to identify and address adult cyber abuse.

This includes investigating reports of harassment, stalking, and other forms of online abuse.

  • Conducting investigations into reports of online harassment and stalking
  • Collaborating with experts in the field to develop strategies to prevent online abuse
Section 2: Child Cyberbullying

You will also be working on child cyberbullying cases, which involve investigating reports of bullying and harassment of children online.

This includes identifying perpetrators and developing strategies to prevent future incidents.
