We are seeking a talented professional to support our Tech Trends and Challenges workstream. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to shaping and informing our strategic regulatory position on emerging online issues.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support collaboration across the team and stakeholders to inform our Tech Trends and Challenges work, including contributions to consultations and law reform processes.\
  • Engage with domestic and international stakeholders across academia, industry, and government.\
  • Work on diverse topic areas such as age assurance, online pornography, immersive technology, generative AI, and end-to-end encryption.\
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement strategies for online safety and harm prevention.\
  • Contribute to the development of evidence-based policies and recommendations for online safety.\
  • Engage with thought leaders and experts in the field to stay up-to-date on emerging issues and trends.\
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, industry partners, and civil society organizations.\
  • Participate in research and analysis to inform policy decisions and recommendations.\
  • Assist in the development of reports, briefs, and other written materials to communicate findings and recommendations.\
  • Represent the organization at conferences, meetings, and other events.\
  • Stay up-to-date on relevant laws, regulations, and industry developments.\
  • Provide advice and guidance to colleagues and stakeholders on online safety and harm prevention.\
  • Contribute to the development of training programs and resources on online safety and harm prevention.\
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement evaluation frameworks to assess the effectiveness of online safety initiatives.\
  • Participate in quality assurance processes to ensure that all products and services meet high standards.\
  • Stay current with best practices and emerging trends in online safety and harm prevention.\
