Our Energy & Utilities team are now seeking an experienced **Zero Harm Manager **to support one of Downer's key clients within the power generation industry across multiple locations in QLD. This is a full-time permanent opportunity based in our Milton office location however frequent site travel is required.

**About the Role**

As a **Zero Harm Manager **you will actively support, coach, mentor and provide HSE advice to our team providing routine maintenance, breakdown response, and major outages. During delivery and planning of major outages, your team will grow to support the 24/7 operations and significantly increased personnel numbers. You will take a one-team approach to interact with our client's HSE team and site leadership to align our safety systems and cultures and work collaboratively with client and Downer stakeholders to respond to and investigate incidents.

This dynamic role will involve exposure to a mix of disciplines with a focus on bringing people together to ensure we achieve our Work Health, Safety and Environment objectives whilst contributing to the innovation of the business.

**About You**
- Previous experience working in Power Stations, Shutdowns, Construction or Mining Projects is desirable.
- Willing to work on site during outages with increased hours (project uplift is provided during these periods).
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar safety leadership role.
- Demonstrated experience working with a client HSE team to harmonise asset owner and contractor systems and processes.
- Minimum of a Diploma in WHS.
- ICAM investigation skills and competency.
- Cert IV Trainer & Assessor certificate is desirable.
- An understanding and a working knowledge of WHS practices and current legislation.
