Job Title: Planning Enforcement Officer

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate complaints regarding land use and development to ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to achieve sustainable built form and land use outcomes for the community.
  • Utilize informal dispute resolution processes and tools to achieve compliance before formal enforcement proceedings.
  • Apply formal dispute resolution processes and tools, including tribunals and courts.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant laws and regulations.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualification in planning or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in an enforcement role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Valid driver's licence.
