Statutory Planner Role

We are seeking an experienced statutory planner to join our team and contribute to the development of our region.

Main Responsibilities:
  • To develop and implement strategic plans for land use and urban development projects, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
  • To work collaboratively with stakeholders, including government agencies, community groups, and other key parties, to achieve project goals.
  • To conduct research and analysis to inform planning decisions, providing recommendations and supporting evidence to stakeholders.
  • To prepare and present reports, proposals, and other documents as required, clearly communicating project outcomes and implications.
Requirements:
  • A degree in urban planning or a related field, preferably with postgraduate qualifications or significant experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • The capacity to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing competing deadlines.
  • High-level analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and identify solutions.
